The S.T. Dupont Lighter- Ligne 1- Black Lacquer and Palladium marks the celebrated return of an icon. Originally crafted by S.T. Dupont, this legendary design was cherished by some of the world’s most sophisticated figures—including Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn.
With its redesigned proportions and timeless elegance, this new Ligne 1 edition features the Maison’s signature black lacquer and vertical palladium guilloché pattern, a stunning tribute to S.T. Dupont’s 150-year legacy of craftsmanship.
An enduring symbol of French refinement, Ligne 1 was the diplomatic gift of choice during the 1960s, just two decades after S.T. Dupont introduced the concept of the luxury lighter. Today, it continues that tradition of excellence, now equipped with a double yellow flame and the unmistakable S.T. Dupont “cling” heard when opening every authentic piece.

Founded in 1872, S.T. Dupont began as a maker of exceptional leather goods before expanding into luxury accessories that blend artistry with precision engineering. During World War II, S.T. Dupont created the first luxury petrol lighter, followed in 1952 by the revolutionary “D57” gas lighter—the first with an adjustable flame.
From its factory in the French Alps, each lighter is crafted from solid brass and undergoes 40–70 meticulous hand-finished steps. Whether adorned with Chinese lacquer or precious metals, every S.T. Dupont lighter is a work of art—made to be treasured for generations.
