Georgetown Tobacco English Blend – Councilman (NEW!)

NEW: With the closing of the Sutliff factory in Richmond, several of our House Blends required careful reformulation. After months of testing, we’ve selected new versions that honor the character and spirit of the originals. We hope you’ll enjoy them and value your feedback—please share your thoughts with us at info@gttobacco.com.

About This Blend:

Councilman is a signature Georgetown Tobacco English blend, crafted for pipe smokers who appreciate balance, refinement, and a touch of quiet complexity. This is a medium-bodied mixture, shaped by tradition yet approachable enough for everyday enjoyment.

Picture a late-evening walk along the edges of an ancient moor—soft mist rising, shadows stretching long, and each moment carrying a sense of calm. Councilman captures that gentle mystery, offering depth without overwhelming the palate.

This blend harmonizes the smoky richness of Latakia, the smooth, natural sweetness of Cavendish, and the bright, clean notes of Virginia tobaccos. The result is a measured, well-rounded profile:

• A softly smoky opening

• A warm, subtle sweetness at the center

• A clean, satisfying finish

Nuanced rather than forceful, Councilman is ideal for those who enjoy English blends with layered character, but prefer a smoother, more polished expression rather than a heavy or intense one.

Perfect For:

• Fans of medium-bodied English blends

• Pipe smokers who enjoy Latakia with balance, not dominance

• Anyone looking for a blend with gentle sweetness and approachable complexity
