Cigar Sampler- Shape Matters

About This Sampler:

The Cigar Sampler- Shape Matters- was inspired by the question: Is there really a difference between smoking a box-pressed cigar versus a traditional round shape (or parejo, as it’s called in Spanish)? So we took our favorite examples from Davidoff and Padron so you can smoke them and find out!

By smoking two cigars from the same manufacturer with the same blend and similar size, you can experience the difference— and then tell us what you think it is!

We also created a special price for this sampler, so the education comes at a great value as well.

Each Cigar Sampler comes perfectly packed in our Georgetown Tobacco Gift Box with a small Boveda 72 for perfect condition as they travel from our humidor to yours!

This Sampler contains one of each of the following cigars:

Padron 1926 Serie No. 90 Maduro  (5.5″ x 50)

Padron 1926 Serie No. 9 Maduro (box pressed)  (5.25″ x 56)

Davidoff Nicaragua Toro  (6″ x 52)

Davidoff Nicaragua Box-Pressed Toro  (5.5″ x 52)

About Padron 1926 Serie:

The award-winning Padrón 1926 Serie premiered in 2002 to commemorate José O. Padrón’s 75th birthday, with ten sizes available. Continuing their tradition, the majority of shapes in this series are offered in a box-pressed format. These cigars are individually hand-crafted from tobacco aged five years, then blended to create an exceptionally smooth, complex, balanced and full-bodied flavor. For protection, a double band with an individually numbered guarantee label is applied to every cigar to safeguard against counterfeiting. Available in both sun-grown natural and maduro wrappers.

About Davidoff Nicaragua:

Inspired by Zino Davidoff’s pioneering spirit, Davidoff Master Blender went exploring for a new type of blend that would stimulate both the sweet and bitter taste buds. Nicaragua is where they finally discovered it. In this country the rich volcanic soil produces the finest of tobacco leaves that deliver blends with just the right balance of bittersweet notes to tantalize the palate.
