Cornell & Diehl Small Batch: Steamworks

About This Tobacco

The Cornell & Diehl Small Batch: Steamworks is a masterfully crafted Virginia/Oriental flake that showcases the depth, sweetness, and complexity of expertly processed leaf.

This limited-release blend features six exceptional flue-cured Virginia grades, ranging in color from rich mahogany to bright lemon and orange. Each leaf is treated using two distinct steaming processes, resulting in a unique presentation of unsteamed, partially steamed, and blackened Virginias—each contributing its own dimension of flavor.

The result is a beautifully balanced flake with natural sweetness, layered depth, and evolving complexity from first light to final draw.

The addition of vintage, heirloom Orientals, including rare 2005 Black Sea Sokhoum leaf, introduces a delicate spice and aromatic complexity. This is further enhanced by authentic Louisiana Perique sourced from Cornell & Diehl’s exclusive farm in St. James Parish, adding depth, body, and a refined peppery finish.
