What makes the Davidoff Aniversario Special ‘R’ Tubos special?

The Davidoff Aniversario Special ‘R’ Tubos is a classic. The “R” stands for Rothschild, honoring the special relationship Zino Davidoff shared with the famous winemaking family, and this blend was created to celebrate it.

This cigar comes packaged in a metallic white tube that protects it while traveling and makes for an especially polished presentation as a gift.

The Aniversario Series is the perfect complement for special moments, as each cigar in the line has its own unique blend. Not only will you be able to mark the occasion, but every time you light one in the future you can savor those special memories all over again.

What does our staff think of the Davidoff Aniversario Special ‘R’ Tubos?

“The Aniversario blend never disappoints. To me, it’s the quintessential Dominican cigar and I enjoy it as much today as when I first tried it in 1996. To maintain that kind of consistency in a blend over decades is an extraordinary achievement, and it’s one of the reasons I have so much respect for Davidoff and everything they make.”

Who is the Davidoff Aniversario Special ‘R’ Tubos best suited for?

Medium bodied cigars are approachable to everyone, regardless of experience. They offer more body, flavor, and nuance than most mild cigars, and they pair well with just about anything. One of the greatest attributes of enjoying cigars is the opportunity to experiment and find the blends that truly resonate with you.

Consider these factors before selecting any cigar: What is the occasion? Who will you be with? What kind of mood are you in? Have you eaten? What will you be drinking with the cigar? Putting some thought into those questions will guide you toward the blends that best complement that moment.

What can you tell me about Davidoff?

Blending Caribbean passion with Swiss precision, Davidoff has been creating exceptional cigars in the Dominican Republic since 1991. No cigar maker pays more meticulous attention to every detail of the manufacturing process, from seed to finished cigar. Of the 225,000 seeds that come from a single tobacco plant, only 10% make it through Davidoff’s quality control. Each leaf undergoes weighing before rolling to ensure every blend contains the exact same proportion of ingredients. Davidoff’s cigar rollers must have ten years of experience before they can work on the White Label cigars. The white band is the difference.
