The Davidoff Grande Humidor represents the next evolution of Davidoff’s legendary humidors. Designed for collectors whose collections have outgrown traditional storage, the Grande combines exceptional Italian craftsmanship, premium materials, and Davidoff’s renowned humidity control into one stunning centerpiece.
Inspired by decades of humidor innovation dating back to Zino Davidoff’s original vision, every Grande Humidor is handcrafted in Italy using carefully selected Gaboon ebony, creating a one-of-a-kind appearance where no two humidors share the same grain pattern. Each piece is as unique as the cigars it protects.
Exceptional Materials
The Grande Humidor showcases one of the world’s most beautiful cabinet woods—Gaboon ebony. Its dramatic dark striping creates an elegant, contemporary appearance while ensuring every humidor is completely unique.
Inside, Davidoff uses Okoumé, an odorless, uniformly textured hardwood chosen specifically because it will not interfere with the aroma or flavor of your cigars. The lighter interior also beautifully contrasts the rich exterior wood.
Handcrafted Italian Excellence
Each Grande Humidor is built by experienced Italian craftsmen using traditional woodworking techniques refined over generations.
The wood is carefully prepared, varnished, and then painstakingly hand sanded through multiple stages. This labor-intensive finishing process is repeated five separate times, producing the exceptionally smooth, piano-like finish Davidoff is famous for. The same finishing philosophy is used on some of the world’s finest musical instruments.
The result is a luxurious mirror finish that highlights the natural beauty of the ebony while providing lasting protection.
Davidoff De Luxe Humidity System
Included are two Davidoff De Luxe Regulators, developed exclusively for Davidoff to provide exceptionally stable humidity.
Each regulator is individually calibrated and engineered to maintain an ideal relative humidity between 70% and 72%, helping protect your cigars from rapid swings in moisture.
Rather than simply adding humidity, the system both releases moisture when conditions become too dry and absorbs excess moisture when humidity rises too high, creating an exceptionally stable aging environment.
Thoughtfully Designed Interior
Organization is just as impressive as the craftsmanship.
The removable tray features ventilation slots that promote even humidity circulation while allowing storage on two levels.
Six removable dividers (three in the tray and three in the lower compartment) allow you to organize cigars by brand, strength, country of origin, or aging project.
Elegant polished metal hinges complete the sophisticated presentation.
Zino Davidoff, after traveling as a young man to South and Central America, returned to Switzerland and is credited with creating the world’s first humidor. His travels showed him what proper humidity could do to improve a cigar’s longevity, and the experience of enjoying one.
Today, Davidoff is respected around the world for creating some of the greatest premium cigars and accessories available. Their exceptional attention to detail, commitment to quality and passion for our industry resonate through every product they make.
