The Davidoff Year of the Horse Limited Edition is the cigar we wait for all year! Crafted in a never-before-seen Toro Especial (6.5″ x 55) format, this cigar captures the independent elegance and graceful strength that define those born under the Chinese Zodiac’s Horse sign.
Rolled exclusively by Davidoff’s eight Master Rollers, each with over 15 years of experience, this cigar exemplifies the pinnacle of craftsmanship, innovation, and flavor.
This extraordinary cigar is composed entirely of proprietary hybrid-seed tobaccos, a first for Davidoff. Each of the six hybrid varietals underwent a seven-year development process, cultivated and aged under Davidoff’s meticulous standards.
Tobacco Origins & Aging:
Filler: Dominican tobaccos aged 10, 10, 10, and 6 years
Binder: Aged 4 years
Wrapper: Aged 3 years
Combined tobacco age: 43 years of refinement and patience.
Tasting Notes:
Rich layers of cream, chocolate, and roasted hazelnut, followed by a long, elegant finish. The vintage Dominican fillers create a smooth yet complex profile—refined, balanced, and unmistakably Davidoff.
The Toro Especial celebrates the Horse’s grace and spirited charm in both its blend and design.
Each cigar is hand-rolled to perfection and presented in an elegant ten-count collector’s box made of dark-toned natural wood with Davidoff’s signature red and gold accents.
Inside, the design honors equestrian luxury:
A stitched green interior reminiscent of a fine saddle pad (green is one of the Horse’s lucky colors)
A removable, debossed strap inspired by horse reins
An engraved Davidoff logo and horseshoe motif for good fortune
A numbered collector’s coin for true aficionados
