The Eladio Diaz- La Diana- Biloria is from the second core line introduced by Eladio’s factory, TDC or Tabacalera Diaz-Cabrera.
Full bodied and smooth with exceptional construction, this robusto delivers complex flavor usually found in cigars at twice the price.
Created to honor his mentor, the varied tobaccos used in this blend seem to reflect the deep history and legacy Eladio sought to honor with its creation.
When Eladio was just 7 years old, he used to sing a song from Julio Jaramillo about being a cigar man, and told his mom that’s how he wanted to live his life, “from a cigar to a cigar.” Eladio’s mom then took him to a small cigar factory owned by Don Pancho, who gave Eladio his first job sweeping in the factory. That factory was called “La Diana” and was named in honor of Don Pancho’s granddaughter.
Mr. Francisco Biloria Vencosme (“Don Pancho”) became Eladio’s mentor, and was the first light in Eladio’s career, who went on to become one of the greatest master blenders of our time.
In Eladio’s own words about the blend: “… in my humble opinion, this is one of the strongest and complex blend that I have ever made, enjoy it my dear cigar aficionado friends.”

Having worked with tobacco since he was 6 years old, Eladio Diaz is one of the most respected Master Blenders in the world. As a key player working with Davidoff for over 30 years, Eladio was an integral part of creating so many of the famous Davidoff blends we’ve enjoyed for decades. Eladio also worked closely with our dear friend, Paul Garmirian, in creating his blends.
Eladio has now built his own factory, Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera, and is surrounded by his family in the business. His wife is the General Manager, and his three sons, Alexander, Emanuel and Hector all work side by side with their father in various aspects of the business.
Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera currently has 7 rollers. As Eladio says, “You don’t need a big kitchen to make a great cigar, just the right ingredients!”
