The Paul Garmirian “PG” Gourmet Series III- Connoisseur was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of P.G. cigars back in 2020. For this blend, P.G. and his son, Kevork, set out to develop a fuller-bodied blend, working with the masters at Davidoff, Henke Kelner and Eladio Diaz.
Using a dark, rich, and oily Habano wrapper from Ecuador, and Dominican filler tobaccos they had not previously had access to, the Garmirians succeeded in creating the taste they sought, with the same impeccable quality standards they have always maintained.

Don’t let the term “full bodied” scare you off of any particular blend. Body does not equal strength. When we refer to body, we’re talking about the richness, mouthfeel, and perhaps the amount of spice in a blend. These blends are often best enjoyed after a great meal, when you can truly appreciate the complex character of the cigar.
Consider these factors before selecting any cigar: What’s the occasion? Who will you be with? What kind of mood are you in? Have you eaten? What will you be drinking with the cigar? Putting some thought into those questions will guide you towards the blends that best complement that moment in time.
Paul Garmirian wrote the book on cigars, literally. Published in 1990, The Gourmet Guide to Cigars is based on seven years of research, much of which was conducted here at Georgetown Tobacco. Soon after, we launched P.G.’s cigars in our store. Blended with Davidoff’s master blenders, Henke Kelner and Eladio Diaz, P.G.’s cigars are produced at the Davidoff Occidental cigar factory.
