What makes the Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys special?

The Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys is an elegant lonsdale that highlights the flavor of the Dominican Habano wrapper. With the elite selection Dominican binder and filler, this blend is the most Cubanesque in the Sans Pareil portfolio, medium to full in body, with a nice spice.

Sans Pareil’s Green line features tobaccos aged a full seven years, selected from only the top 10 percent of the farm’s yield. After multiple rounds of meticulous fermentation, each cigar is aged an additional two years post-rolling, resulting in remarkable smoothness and depth. This uncompromising commitment to time and craft is what makes Sans Pareil truly without equal.

The elegant, label-free presentation says it all: if you know, you know.

Why this cigar belongs in your humidor:

Exceptional construction and draw
Perfect after enjoying a great meal
Distinctive flavor complexity from long-aged Dominican tobaccos
A refined, elevated smoking experience worthy of the most discerning aficionados

These cigars are packed in a beautiful Okoume wooden box of ten. 5-packs are also available in our Georgetown Tobacco gift box, complete with a Boveda humidity pack to maintain perfect freshness.

What does our staff think of the Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys?

Teresa Wessling, Tobacconist at Georgetown Tobacco, team member since 1996

“I don’t remember what cigars were like from Cuba back in the ’20s and ’30s, but if this blend (which was created to emulate those cigars) is any indication, I would love them! The Dominican Habano wrapper brings just a touch of spice to this incredibly smooth blend I come back to time and time again!”

Who is the Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys best suited for?

Medium bodied cigars are approachable to everyone, regardless of experience. They offer more body, flavor and nuance than most mild cigars, and can pair with just about anything. One of the greatest attributes of enjoying cigars is the opportunity to experiment and find the blends that really resonate with you.

Consider these factors before selecting any cigar: What’s the occasion? Who will you be with? What kind of mood are you in? Have you eaten? What will you be drinking with the cigar? Putting some thought into those questions will guide you towards the blends that best complement that moment in time.

What can you tell me about Sans Pareil Cigars?

Sans Pareil was founded by cigar connoisseurs who believe extraordinary cigars require extraordinary patience. Their dedication shows in every step of the process.

Top 1 percent leaf selection from each harvest
Multiple fermentation cycles to remove imperfections
A minimum of seven years of tobacco aging, plus two additional years of aging after rolling
Okoume wood boxes, chosen over Spanish cedar to preserve pure tobacco flavor
A partnership with Jochy Blanco of Tabacalera Palma, one of the Dominican Republic’s most respected cigar manufacturers

Why does Georgetown Tobacco carry Sans Pareil Cigars?

There are many cigars described as luxury today, but few that truly live up to the designation, or the price. Sans Pareil has earned its place in our humidor through exceptional construction, distinctive blends, and a remarkable smoothness that comes from the use of carefully aged vintage tobaccos.

Since we first introduced Sans Pareil to our customers, the response has been exceptional. It is a brand we are proud to carry and one we expect to stand behind for many years to come.

FAQ: Frequently asked questions about the Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys

+Is the Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys a good choice for someone newer to premium cigars?

Yes! While we might often recommend people begin their cigar journey with a mild blend, medium-bodied cigars are also a great place to start. There are so many great cigars to try, and we encourage you to explore a variety of blends to discover what resonates with you the most.

+What pairs well with the Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys?

We like to keep it simple. If you like the cigar and you like the beverage, they likely go well together. That said, there is both art and science to pairing beverages and cigars, and our team of tobacconists has pooled their collective knowledge to create this comprehensive pairing guide.

+Is the Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys worth the price?

This is such a subjective and personal question to answer. What we can say is this: we think so, or we would not carry it. We carefully consider price along with many other factors before deciding what to bring into our humidors. While it may not fit every budget, we believe the character and construction of this blend will be appreciated by many of our customers.

+How long does it take to enjoy a Sans Pareil Green- Sherrys?

Size and shape play key roles in how long you will enjoy your cigar. While factors such as pace, tobacco density, and environmental conditions can affect burn time, certain cigar shapes generally require more time than others. See our guide on how long cigars last based on common cigar shapes, so you can choose the right cigar for the amount of time you have to enjoy it.

+How should I store this cigar?

Cigars are happiest in conditions that resemble the tropical regions where they were made: warm, humid, and consistent. For long-term storage, we recommend a quality cedar-lined humidor maintained at approximately 69 to 72 percent relative humidity and around 68 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep cigars away from direct sunlight and sudden temperature changes. With proper care, a well-maintained cigar will only improve with age.
