In 1964, David Berkebile established Georgetown Tobacco in Washington D.C.'s historic hub of commerce. Today, it is still a place to enjoy the camaraderie of those who enjoy the gentle art of smoking and other of life's pleasures. In addition to the finest cigars, pipes and smoking accessories, we strive to stock interesting and unusual items for home and personal use.
In honor of the 700th year since the death of Dante Alighieri, author of The Divine Comedy and other works, Savinelli has created this limited-edition commemorative pipe, taking the form of a singular, broad, squat Brandy shape with a jutting heel and a slight bend. Finished in a crisp, concise sandblast, this special-edition design also features a sterling silver accent depicting the Florentine poet’s bust along the top of the shank. Nestled in special, custom-designed packaging further commemorating the historic figure, only 700 pipes were made worldwide for this limited-edition release.
