The Davidoff Escurio 10th Anniversary Limited Edition celebrates Davidoff’s first foray into using Brazilian tobacco ten years ago with a very special new blend.
This rare blend showcases the region’s uniqueness. Bahia is characterized by a humid and salty environment due to its proximity to the sea, and the harsher, irregular rainfall there creates tobacco that is more robust and spicy in taste. In contrast, the Dominican tobaccos add a signature smoothness and creaminess, cultivated in regions with consistent, controlled fresh water and balanced weather.
The tobaccos carry an impressive combined age of 45 years, made possible by Davidoff’s extensive tobacco inventory. No one else has Brazilian tobaccos of this age available. Adding further distinction from the ongoing Escurio line, Davidoff aged one of the Dominican filler tobaccos in a bourbon cask, which imparts extra depth, complexity, and sweetness, making this cigar a true samba of taste.
The Gran Toro’s 56 ring gauge allows the filler tobaccos to take center stage, resulting in an experience that is smooth, full of flavor, and one you’ll want to enjoy again and again. With only 3,750 boxes available in the United States, we expect our allocation will not last long.
