About This Pipe:

The Peterson Pipes – Deluxe Classic PSB (B10) P-Lip pays tribute to Peterson’s history and tradition as the oldest continuously operating briar pipe factory in the world.

The Deluxe Classic series includes Peterson’s most popular non-System shapes with an extra-wide, sterling silver band for a distinctively retro aesthetic reminiscent of early Patent-era Peterson pipes.

This is the Sandblasted PSB finish, a grade reserved for sandblasted bowls of only the finest grain quality, a dark stain and a deep, craggy sandblast reveals stunning blasted grain patterns.

About The Peterson P-Lip:

Patented by Charles Peterson, this special mouthpiece is designed with a small hole at the tip of the stem that directs smoke away from the tongue and towards the roof of the mouth. The intent is to provide a cooler smoke and to help prevent tongue bite.

These stems are made from vulcanite, which is easier on the teeth than lucite— this is also aided by the rounded and graduated shape of the stem.

About Peterson High Grade Pipes:

Peterson’s High Grade designation is reserved for only the very best pipes to leave their factory. Each pipe in this range is distinguished by its plentiful grain, either smooth or sandblasted, and expert metal fitments, shaped and applied by the hands of Peterson’s most experienced craftsmen.

Peterson’s silversmiths are among the most talented in the world, having undergone traditional five-to-eight-year apprenticeships under a senior craftsman; each smith has engineered his own mandrel, meaning that every metal fitment is imprinted with the subtle, personal style of the one who machined it.
