About This Cigar:

The Davidoff Grand Cru Diademas Finas Limited Edition is the fourth and final edition of Davidoff’s “Cigar History Re-Rolled” series– with a couple of unique twists!

Davidoff is known for their exceptional limited editions, and in this instance, rather than recreating a cigar that was made previously and had been discontinued, the Grand Cru Diademas Finas introduces a new shape for the line, a beautiful figurado that highlights the remarkable skill of the rollers and a shape that provides a lot of nuance as the cigar is smoked.

The other special twist is the aging of one of the filler tobaccos, a Dominican San Vicente, in a Premier Grand Cru Classé red wine cask from Bordeaux for six months.

Just as a Bordeaux is blended with three different main grape varieties, the Grand Cru Diademas Finas uses three different Dominican tobaccos in the filler. The Dominican San Vicente seco is a finer leaf, which absorbs more of the aroma from the cask and thus helps the cigar resemble the fruity character of the wine.

That makes an aged red Bordeaux, especially from the Rive Droite, the perfect pairing!

The cigars arrive in a 10-count box, and only 4,050 boxes will be available in the U.S. We will receive a special allotment of these exquisite cigars- as such we are currently limiting purchases for pre-order to one box per customer.
