Our Team’s Top 25 Cigars of 2024
Dec
Introduction
Our Team’s Top 25 Cigars of 2024 is the result of a year’s worth of some serious cigar smoking. As tobacconists, we get to sample new and limited releases. When it comes to choosing a cigar to smoke during our shifts, we have literally hundreds of options at our fingertips. And sometimes, that’s the toughest decision we’ll make all day… just one reason this may be the greatest job on Earth!
We asked the team to rank their top ten cigars of 2024. The only condition was to choose something we have available to sell, or will have again in the future— there’s no sense in teasing you with something you can’t get!
The team takes this charge pretty seriously, often taking their time to review their lists and rankings before they’re submitted. The result is a list reflective of our collective tastes which vary in body, strength, character and price.
Across our small team, these Top Ten lists led to a master list of 67 different cigars! Now consolidated and ranked to give our Top 25!
Our Team’s Top 25 Cigars of 2024 are definitely all cigars worthy of your consideration— as of course, are so many other cigars that did not make the list.
You can click the name of each cigar to find out more about them and order on our website.
Scoring
For 2024, the team nominated 67 different cigars for the top 10. So how do we get to that final number? Each team member’s list of 1 through 10 is given a score. 10 points for their top choice, 1 point for their last. The scores are tallied, and voila!
Tie breakers are also a serious thing— in the event of a tie, the cigar with the most team member nominations took the higher spot. There are no advertising dollars, spiffs, or brownie points at stake: this is truly how our team’s preferences shook out for 2024.
So all of that said, here’s the list!
