What makes the Padrón Family Reserve- No. 46 Maduro special?

The Padrón Family Reserve- No. 46 Maduro is a blend originally produced only for Padrón family and friends. These cigars feature tobaccos aged a minimum of ten years.

As a 56 by 5 and a half, the No. 46 offers the widest ring gauge in the Family Reserve series, allowing maximum enjoyment from these aged filler tobaccos.

Upon lighting this blend for the first time, one of our team members remarked, “I feel like I just discovered fire.”

What does our staff think of the Padrón Family Reserve- No. 46 Maduro?

“You know when a blend is something the Padróns were keeping ‘reserved’ for themselves before making them available to the rest of us, it’s going to be great. I really appreciate the smoothness that aged tobacco brings to a blend, and the Family Reserve are exceptional. I generally lean towards the #46 or the #85 in Maduro for a more full-bodied experience.”

Who is the Padrón Family Reserve- No. 46 Maduro best suited for?

Don’t let the term “full bodied” scare you off of any particular blend. Body does not equal strength. When we refer to body, we’re talking about the richness, mouthfeel, and perhaps the amount of spice in a blend. These blends are often best enjoyed after a great meal, when you can truly appreciate the complex character of the cigar.

Consider these factors before selecting any cigar: What’s the occasion? Who will you be with? What kind of mood are you in? Have you eaten? What will you be drinking with the cigar? Putting some thought into those questions will guide you towards the blends that best complement that moment in time.
